Hello, world! We are Daniel Schellhorn and Fabian Winter, an apprentice on our team. Today, we are proud to introduce the first version of our AI phone assistant: tellmachines 1.0.

Over the past eight months, we have designed and programmed the entire tellmachines platform here in Regensburg, Germany. An idea grew through many conversations and countless decisions into a system built to help businesses in their everyday work.

When the phone rings, work carries on.

A call rarely arrives at the perfect moment. You might be helping a customer, working on a job or already finished for the day. Yet behind every ring is a person who needs something. That is where tellmachines comes in.

Our AI phone assistant answers calls and holds conversations using the information and workflows a business provides. It helps take pressure off teams and gets requests to the people who can handle them.

What is inside version 1.0?

  • Conversations in real time: callers can speak naturally, ask follow-up questions and interrupt the assistant.
  • Your business knowledge: the information you provide helps the assistant give relevant answers.
  • Workflows that fit: depending on its configured workflow, the assistant can collect requests, book appointments or transfer calls.
  • One place to configure it: Studio brings your assistant and its workflows together.

Built by us. Shaped with you.

Version 1.0 is a special moment for us. Daniel and Fabian have developed the platform together, with curiosity, persistence and a focus on making something useful for everyday work. We are looking forward to seeing how you use it.

Give it a try: create an account, set up your assistant and hear how it works with your information. We welcome questions, ideas and feedback through our support page.

Greetings from Regensburg,
Daniel & Fabian
